English About us

Servicios de Reparaciones is a specialist technician’s business, not a call centre that passes your job to whoever happens to be free. It started in January 2001 and has done the same thing ever since: plumbing, air conditioning and pools in Murcia, Alicante and Almería.

Twenty-five years doing the same job

The materials have changed — galvanised steel to multilayer, R-22 to modern refrigerants — but the important part has not: an installation is either done properly or done twice.

When you call, the technician who turns up is the one who answers for the work, and the same person you can ring in two years if something fails. That has an advantage and a limitation, and both are real: the advantage is continuity; the limitation is that we cannot cover twenty simultaneous callouts in August. Which is exactly why we push preventive servicing so hard.

We speak English — and we are from the coast

Not through an interpreter and not through a phone translator. The visit, the diagnosis, the quote and the explanation of what was done, in English.

And the Costa Blanca is not somewhere we travel to — it is where we are from. We know which urbanisations run short of pressure, which streets get the hardest water, and what salt air does to an outdoor unit two hundred metres from the sea. That is not something you learn driving over for the day.

«Licensed installer» and «F-Gas» — what they mean

Two Spanish credentials that are easy to ignore until they matter.

  • Instalador autorizado — licensed installer. Certain installations legally require a certificate, and only a licensed installer can issue it. We issue our own: you do not have to find a third party to sign off work we did.
  • F-Gas — the certification required to handle fluorinated refrigerant gases. Without it an air conditioning installation cannot be legally documented.

Both tend to surface when you sell, insure or rent out the property — which is the worst moment to discover you do not have them.

How we work

  • A fixed written price before we start. If something appears once we open up that could not be seen from outside, we stop, explain it and you decide. No invoices that grow as they go.
  • We explain before we do. It is what clients say they were missing: someone telling them what the fault is, why it happened and what the options are, with the price of each. When there are three ways to solve something, you get all three.
  • We locate before we break. On water leaks we do not dig blind. Equipment first — acoustic, thermal, tracer gas — then we open the exact point. Slower to explain, far cheaper to pay for.

Real hours

Monday to Friday 8:00–18:00. Saturday 9:00–14:00. Urgent jobs inside those hours are dealt with the same day.

We do not work 24/7, and we say so plainly because we prefer that to promising something we cannot deliver. Plenty of plumbing websites advertise 24/7 and then nobody answers at eleven at night. If you have a leak in the night: close the main stopcock and call us first thing. With the water off, most things will wait.

Who we work for

  • Private homes — repairs, replacements, bathroom refurbishment and maintenance.
  • Communities and urbanisations — plant rooms, risers, pressure sets, communal pools. Itemised quotes you can defend at the AGM.
  • Businesses — pipework, commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and drainage.
  • Non-resident owners — see how we work when you are not here.

What we do not do

  • We do not work 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • We do not quote repairs over the phone without seeing the installation.
  • We do not do general building work. We do the installation and the opening needed to reach it.
  • We do not routinely work outside Murcia, Alicante and Almería.
